About Membership

WAPNAP Membership

About Membership Membership of WAPNAP includes Pediatric and Family Nurse Practitioners, Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, School Nurses and other Pediatric Nurses from Wisconsin. Annual membership is from July 1 to July 1. Annual membership dues are $30.00. Nurse Practitioner students are eligible for free membership.

Benefits of Membership

  • WAPNAP members receive discounted conference fees at WAPNAP-sponsored educational conferences.
  • WAPNAP members receive discounted conference fees at the annual Wisconsin Nurses Association-Nurse Practitioner Pharmacology Forum, held every year in May.
  • The WAPNAP listserve, used for member communication, exchange of ideas, and updates on practice and legislative issues, is available to WAPNAP members only.
  • Membership in WAPNAP provides a voice for Wisconsin PNP's to the national organization of NAPNAP.
  • WAPNAP members have the opportunity to make a difference by hearing about political or professional issues that need PNP input.
  • WAPNAP welcomes the membership and input of NP students and new grads. Students in NP programs are eligible for free WAPNAP membership. First-year new graduates may join for half of the annual membership fee.

Meetings WAPNAP Board meetings are held on a quarterly basis in January, April, July and October. ALL WAPNAP members are welcome to attend Board meetings. WAPNAP holds its annual membership meeting in conjunction with the Wisconsin Nurses Association Nurse Practitioner Forum and Pharmacology Conference, held each spring in late April or early May.
