The Avenue Bar Puts on a New Face
Shortly after Christmas, work began at the Avenue Bar which was intended to upgrade the building and fix up certain elements at the bar and restaurant that needed updating. According to Paul Zach, one of the Avenue’s owners, there were a number of things being done at the bar. The front was remodeled to provide an enhanced and improved entrance. Lighting was updated and improved. The seating was modified with the installation of booths. "Other than being closed for a couple days after Christmas, we’ve been able to maintain uninterrupted business during the construction process," said Zach. He reported that all remodel work should be completed by the first week of March.
