Reports: The minutes for the March meeting were accepted with corrections.
Announcements: Gigi Holland is looking for a volunteer to help with watering the flowerbeds at Gates of Heaven. Contact Lee Christensen for information on getting in touch with her. She is also looking for funds and volunteers to establish a Memory Perennial Garden at the Reservoir site for Sol Levin. She may be reached by her email address at gigiholl@msn.com

Reminder: Be aware Historic Madison in having their Alternate Parade of Homes in our area this year. If you have ideas for the event please contact Nancy Finley or Barb Essock. Historic Madison has a web site at http://danenet.wicip.org/hmi/
The presentation for a project at 633 E. Gorham has not materialized at present.
May general membership meeting: Our next meeting if held on the 4th Monday of the month would be on Memorial Day. Also our president will be gone as he is getting married on 17 May. A motion was made to not hold a May meeting and have our next meeting on June 23rd. The motion was passed unanimously.
New Business. Getting new members. Keith Cohen suggested having an ice cream social or similar event in James Madison Park as a way to attract people to our association. We could put up posters on the kiosks and deliver notices to the whole neighborhood in hopes of getting new owners and long-term renters go come to our meetings. Ilse Hecht said she would look into using the park space and Keith Cohen said he would look into the costs of getting bulk food.
