Reports

Alder-Most suggestions for uses of Breese Stevens Field kept it as a sports venue and kept the historic look to the facility.  It was also suggested it could be used for concerts.

There have been some beating and robberies in the neighborhood.  If you have any knowledge of these activities or suggestions on where lighting needs to be improved contact Brenda Konkel.

President-The association has applied for a Historical Society grant.  Lee Christensen met with the city about application for funding for the neighborhood plan for Blair to the Square.  A planning meeting was held with light turn out.  Another will be held and the sign up sheet was passed around again.

Treasurer-Ilse Hecht gave the report with the current balance of $981.31.

Secretary-Minutes of October meeting were approved with corrections.

10 Block of North Blair Street Development

Rick McKy again went over what he was going to do on the block with little change from last month’s description.  He is leaving the dwellings of property he owns on three sides of the block.  He is taking the back of the lots and taking down the wooden dwellings on Blair Street and putting up apartments.  He didn’t have a model or designs except for the Blair Street view.  Parking will be underneath with apartment units facing Blair Street.  There will be a roof top terrace.  Answers to questions about specifics dealing with the project were vague.  A motion was made and seconded to approve the complete project and pass on to the city our concern about flooding and traffic congestion.  The motion passed with 10 for, 3 against and 3 abstentions.

The meeting was adjourned.
