How to Make a Blank 5X5 Grid

Open a new spreadsheet
Highlight the first five rows and five columns
To make square cells in ClarisWorks, set row height to 72 (the default column width). Use the Options menu to set the dispaly to solid lines.
Use AutoFormat in Microsoft Works.
With the five rows and columns highlighted, set the print area. Print the grid for your students.
