*"Wisconsin: Celebating People, Place and Past"
This new CD-ROM is a great resource for teachers. It contains archival film footage, sound, animation and historic photos. It promotes interactive learning and it includes a teacher's guide. It is available at a price of $19 for schools. A lab pack of five, with the teacher's guide is $85. They can be ordered through the Educational Communications Board (ECB), P.O. Box 8686, Madison, WI 73707. Where school budgets are tight, a local sponsor or service club may underwrite the CD-ROM.
