Students will tell the story of their school community. They may
narrate the entire history of the school or focus on one or two events or
episodes that they think have historical significance. The history should
demonstrate change over time at their school and relate the development of
the school to periods or events in Wisconsin or United States history.
Each school history should allow for an interactive component. The project
can incorporate collaboration across classrooms and solicite participation
of former staff and student. This story can include speculation about the
vision for the future of the school community.
