JobNet contains current job opportunities that employers have listed with the Wisconsin Job Service.
If you see a job opportunity that interests you, read the employer contact information at the bottom of each job page for referral instructions.
NOTE: The JobNet database has moved to the new JobNet Home Page. You will want to reset your bookmarks as this site will be phased out.
However, at this time you can still follow this link to search JobNet on DANEnet. The list of job orders was last updated Saturday, April 19 1997.
Additionaly, most Wisconsin Job Service and Job Center offices are equipped with JobNet machines. You can look at these and additional job orders at these offices. In addition, you can receive other kinds of job search assistance such as labor market information, techniques for finding jobs, vocational counseling and testing.
We've made a sampling of our job search pamphlets available as well.
Wisconsin Job Service and Job Centers are listed in the telephone yellow pages.
Good luck in your job search!
The DANEnet implemementation of JobNet was created by Steven Fought, a graduate student and Webmaster at UW Madison.
