I Wonder

Does Color Effect People’s Appetite?

Introduction

My question is,” Does color effect people’s appetite?” I got my question from last year’s Great Blue. I did the question because I like to work with paper and boxes.
I thought it would be hard because I would have to change the colors and rewrite a lot of stuff to answer my question.

Procedure

The materials I used are boxes, paper and a pencil.
To answer my question I wrote down peoples names in my class in my notebook. Then I went to get a box. I tested people by asking how hungry they were on a scale of 1 to 10. One is not very hungry and ten means you’re starving. I kept the box on their heads for three minutes. Then I took the box off their head and asked them again how hungry they are.
I only had time to do red, blue, green and black.

Here’s my data

Results

For blue, on average kids were a 5.13 before being tested and a 6.26 after being tested. For red, on average kids were a 4.22 before being tested and a 6.02 after being tested. For lime green, on average kids were a 4.16 before being tested and a 2.61 after being tested. For black, on average kids were a 4.47 before being tested and a 5.73 after being tested.

Interpreting Results

I found out that if you have blue walls in your house it will make you hungrier. If you have lime green walls it will make you lose weight.
